For newborns place a rolled receiving blanket at the bottom of the carrier before placing your baby. The baby should either be in a froggy position or in a cradle position facing you.

Remember to always make sure your infant/baby/toddler is breathing and has clear unimposing airways. If you can not fully see your child's face this could cause suffocation.
